Designer Sound Limited understands how important personal privacy and security are to you. We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your business and personal affairs and we also understand the need to safeguard sensitive information that you have entrusted to us. Since we value your relationship with us and since we are committed to protect your privacy we have adopted the following provisions to accomplish these goals.

Newsletter Preferences

We occasionally send our customers email newsletters. These newsletters include:

• New product announcements
• Product update announcements
• Special seasonal or time-limited sales promotions

These email newsletter communications apply to 2CAudio, Galbanum, and some partner products available in the Designer Sound web store. This newsletter system is the sole method we use for communicating this important information with you, and we highly recommend you allow us to send you such emails. We deeply respect your privacy and attempt to keep our communications to a minimum. We do NOT abuse this system and email you every week. We email you only when we have important information to share with you.

If you do not wish to receive these emails you may opt-out via changing your selections in the "My Newsletter Preferences" area of our store. You may do this on a per-brand basis so that you will only receive a given newsletter if it contains information relevant to the brand(s) that interest(s) you.

To reiterate, if you opt-out of all newsletters, you will NOT receive important product update messages from 2CAudio, Galbanum, or our partners, and therefor we recommend that you do NOT opt-out of these communications. We really do try to send a little email as possible.

SSL Encryption

When you order our products online or create an account with us, the personal information you provide to us is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL is a commonly used protocol for managing the security of a message transmission on the Internet. SSL uses a program layer located between the Internet's Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and Transport Control Protocol (TCP) layers. SSL is included as part of most modern Web-browsers and Web-server products. Older browsers may not accommodate SSL sessions, so you should ensure that the browser you are using includes the SSL technology. Our certificate is a Network Solutions Secure Link SSL Certificate. 

Financial Information Collection, Retention, and Use

In the course of doing business with you, we collect, and use certain financial information from you such as your Credit Card data (number, expiration date, and security code), or PayPal Account info. This data is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology as described above. WE DO NOT RETAIN OR IN ANY WAY STORE this data in your account profile, in your order history, or anywhere else in our database. This data is thus only exchanged (using SSL) with our payment processing system (PayPal, Inc.) at the time of purchase and NOT kept on record by us. This is for your added security. This is also why you must enter your financial data every time you place an order with us.

Third Party Disclosure

We do not reveal specific information about you, your accounts, or other identifiable data to third parties parties unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; or (3) the disclosure otherwise is required by law. We absolutely do not provide account or Company information to outside third parties for the purpose of their independent marketing.
